1. RETURNS

1.1 The Company is not obliged to accept any goods for return and credit such goods which the Customer may have ordered in error.
1.2 The Company is not obliged to accept any goods for return unless expressly provided to do so by legislation or contract.
1.3 Only goods that are in merchantable condition may be accepted for credit but any credit may be reduced by cartage/handling fees, at the Company’s discretion.

2. CLAIMS

Must be made within 7 days of receiving goods.

No claims will be accepted [other than for faulty product] for: • Product that has been cut by customer.
• Product over-ordered or cancelled after goods have been packed.
• Fabric less than five (5) metres.
• Indent products, i.e., non-stock items purchased specifically at customer’s request. • Discontinued ranges.
• Packaged products in unsealed, open condition.
• Fabric not rolled on tube.

 

No returns or claims will be recognised on discontinued, substandard and clearance items.

 

2.1 The Customer must advise the Company in writing within seven (7) days of delivery if it wishes to make a claim in respect of alleged short delivery of goods. The Customer shall be liable to pay for the full quantity of goods stated in the Company’s delivery dockets if the Customer fails to make such a claim.

3. CUT FABRIC

The Customer will be responsible for and must pay for all fabric once it has been cut; the Company will not accept return of cut fabric except when the fabric is deemed unsuitable for its intended use as a result of the fabric quality being outside the fabric quality performance parameters as stated in the Company’s Finished Fabric Specification and which could not be identified prior to cutting. In this instance the Company will only be liable for the value of the fabric at the Customer’s purchase price.

4. TECHNICAL CLAIM REPORTS

Wilson reserves the right to inspect product that is claimed to be faulty before authorisation of credit. If the fabric has been manufactured, the Customer Service Manager must be contacted who will advise if an inspection is required or what action is to be taken.
All parcels must be returned to our WANGARATTA warehouse within THIRTY (30) DAYS FROM RECEIPT OF GOODS.
The goods must be in a saleable condition. No return on Indent Ranges.
You will need to contact your state branch and obtain a returns number. This returns number will be issued to our nominated carrier with your address and details of the return to enable the carrier to pick up the parcel(s) when in your area.
WE WILL NOT accept a return into our warehouse by any other method of transport.
A return number and invoice number clearly marked on the outside of the parcel(s) will facilitate in a speedy processing of your claim.
Sales representatives are NOT permitted to accept ANY returns.

5. SURCHARGES

In the event of returns being other than the direct responsibility of Wilson, a surcharge will apply of 15% of the invoice value.
In addition, if the return is other than the direct responsibility of Wilson, return freight will be charged to the customer’s account.
