Founded in 1926 by Arthur G. Wilson, Wilson Fabrics has grown to become one of Australia’s leading soft furnishing wholesalers, specialising in premium drapery and blind fabrics. For a century, we’ve remained proudly 100% Australian owned, with a strong commitment to producing Australian Made fabrics—a difference that sets us apart.
We offer a large range of Australian Made drapery and blinds fabrics. All of our coated fabrics are manufactured at our mill in Wangaratta, Victoria to the highest standards surpassing Australian standard requirements to ensure product longevity.
From yarn preparation to setting up new jacquard weaves and finishing the fabrics with PITCHBLACK™ coating, and to meeting with customers across the country. Our passion for fabrics, our people, our customers and our planet is at the heart of everything we do.
Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and distribution centre in Wangaratta spans over 60,000 square metres where we are proud to be a major employer in this regional town, supporting local families, communities and the Australian Economy. Locally made means shorter lead times to our customers, and reducing carbon footprint.
In 2023, we launched the first and only Australia Made sheer fabric, WHITSUNDAYS inspired by our beautiful tropical islands and in 2024, we introduced the groundbreaking innovation – COLOUR FLOW™. This collection ties together our colour coordinated Australian Made Blinds, Drapery and WHITSUNDAYS sheer making choosing fabrics for your window coverings seamless and effortless.
